前阵子，遇到一对问路的男女，由于自信对那地方非常熟悉，毫不犹疑的就把方向告知，那对男女该是见我说的蛮有自信的，连声道谢，就开车离去了。过了好一刻，我才恍然大悟，我给的那个地点不对，他们可真倒霉，以为遇到了贵人，却被点了条黑路。

对此事有些过意不去，却没机会向他们道歉，实在糟糕。

被人老点的感觉不好受，老点人的感觉其实也不那么过瘾（除非是故意的吧）。

Noon in 1U

I have spent a noon in 1U with my wife. We were there for G.I.Joe. Before the movie starts, went for a quick lunch. Since it is a quick lunch, as a chocolate lover, I decided to have our lunch at Theobroma Chocolate Lounge.

We ordered a hot and a cold chocolate drink, and 2 sandwiches. I enjoyed the chocolate drink very much, don't really know how to describe, I just love it.

About the movie, just another pop-corn movie, with lots of action and fun to watch.

Busy and Lazy

Tribute to MJ

For the past few days, besides busy with works and living my usual life. Part of my leisure time, I decided to follow up on MJ news. On saturday, went to 1U for Transformers : Revenge of the fallen(nothing much to review, basically it is like Transformers x 2times more explosive, more transformers, more fighting scene), passed by New Wing, and realized there is a small stage, and MJ post is on a white board. Went home and did some research, found out that there will be a Tribute to Michael Jackson event held on 28th June 2009, 7pm at 1U new wing.

After finished OT at Office, decided to drop by to pay tribute to the SUPERSTAR of my era, or maybe LEGEND of ALL TIME.

The event started around 7pm. First we had a minute of "Moment of Silence" to mourn MJ departure. Then, we got someone from Sony BMG to give speech, according to him, MJ has sold around 800,000 copies of record in Malaysia. I always expect a bigger number, but maybe that's already a really huge number for Malaysian.

Then, there was MJ video clip shown, "The One". According to the host, this is never been played in Malaysia. It is more or less about interview of artist, their impression about MJ, and shares some greatest moments of MJ.

Later, we got 3 impersonators on stage to perform MJ dance. The crowd is really high, and wild. I stayed around for 1 and half hour, I manged to leave a few words on the "Wall of Message" that is going to send to MJ's management office in US.

I miss the sing along session, because I got to get home since I have been out for one whole day(Actually I felt sorry to my wife, it is our 1st wedding anniversary, but I spent least time with her that day).

It is really a tragic that MJ leave in such a way. I wonder if he can pull off the concert, he might be able to bring back his glory day. However, that's not going to happen. We can only remember the King of Pop through his classic masterpiece.

Early morning, I received a call from my close friend, he has brought me a stunning news, MJ died. Oh My God, one of my childhood idol, the "King of Pop", Michael Jackson is dead.

Wow, all the childhood memories are flashing in my head. I still remember how I loved his album "Bad". Th cassette has been played over and over until it was damaged. Somemore, I will never forget the MTV he has brought to us. Nevertheless, his unique "MoonWalk" is so amazing, and breath taking.

I have been following up his album until History. However, since then, he was surrounded with all kind of scandals and accuses, and it was quite sad that I have started to forget him, as one of my top idol, an leave Michael and memories in 90s era.

Not long ago, I was happy when news said that he will be on stage again, somemore, uncountable concert tickets sold out in hours. I still expecting to watch his live performance. I was quite exciting when news said there might be chances for him to re-visit Malaysia, and have another performance. I really want to see how he bring back his glory day.

It has been really a shocking news, that I would not want to believe that he has left us. Though I have kind of forget about him for a long time, in bottom of my heart, he will always be there, he has live in my life.

Michael, you are forever KING OF POP, and forever Legend !! R.I.P.

Summer BlockBuster is back

Though I am busy taking care of my new born daughter (of course I am only the helper, my wife and the confinement lady are actually the one who take care of her) , I still manage to sneak out for some leisure time, because as usual May is where Summer BlockBuster starts, and as a blockbuster lover, how could I miss it.

2 weeks in a roll, I have watched Wolverine, and Star Trek. I enjoyed both movies, especially Star Trek, it is fun to watch how they remake (not really remake I guess, since I totally forget the origin Star Trek movies and series) a classic, and tell a story in a different way. Eventhough I am bored with time travel plot they used, I still got to admit that it is necessary for this movie, because it give you the excuse and reason, to start Start Trek in a new direction, and if the movie is selling good, I believe it gives more creativity and idea for the sequel. However, if there is a sequel, I really hope to see all the cast again, I think they have done quite an interesting job, and brought chemistry to the movie.

How about Wolverine, sad to say, the story is really predictable, so, it is all about action and action only. Though they tried to have two relationship lines for Wolverine, brotherhood and lover, I just don't really felt for it, guess it is just not good enough.

There will be more to come, Angels & Demons, Terminator Salvation, G.I. Joe, Transformer : Revenge of the Fallen and etc. I guess I will be storming movie theatre for 3 months.

二零零九年五月八日，女儿芯妤的大日子，满月了！

身为老爸的我，还挺忙得，除了要在家膜拜神明，又要回我老爸家祭拜先人，之后，又要到处去派红鸡蛋给一些朋友，答谢他们送来的礼物。

为人父母的，我想脑子里想来想去都是那几件事，就是希望自己的孩子，健健康康，快高长大。

实在不知道要如何给最好的东西给自己的女儿，但是我都希望能尽我所能，让她能在一个舒适的环境下成长，做一个能分辨是非的健健康康快活人，那已足够了.

另外，也顺便说声，我女儿的部落开张了！

I have paused my blogging for quite sometimes. I guess it should be time to pick up again. I just wonder how long does this blogging will last, because I have just created one blog for my lovely daugther, of course, I am still the one who going to update the blog, on my daughter's behalf. What am I going to post there? I guess mainly is some photo that I took for her, some magic moment that I have with her, and etc. However, I do hope you guys will drop by once in a while, to support my daugther blog.

However, it is not officially launch yet, because I have not started to upload the photo I took earlier. I will do it soon, and hopefully, Xin Yee's blog shall be ready by her full moon.

迷上网络游戏

前几天在朋友的blog里留言，看了她的回应后，才发现有一段日子没更新自己的blog了，原因只有一个，我迷上网上游戏了。

最近，上网只有一个目的，就是为了玩网络游戏，迷成怎样？迷到连上班时间，一有空闲时，就跑到隐蔽的角落，接连隔壁茶档的无线宽频网络（不敢用公司的网络，怕被IT部门的同事逮到，：P），上网与一班志同道合的网迷厮杀。放工回家，一换回便装，就呆在电脑前，玩个不亦乐乎，好像忘了自己已是有家室的人，老婆也为此事唠叨了几回。

这样的日子希望能早些恢复正常，毕竟三十多岁还来迷上网络游戏好像不大对。

后记：大部分的网友年龄都介于十二至二十五，好像还没找到一个大过我的。

意外收获

当初为何写blog?

应该是因为顺应潮流，人写我写吧！

然后呢?

断断续续，写下停下，成了习惯。常会看着久未更新的blog ，觉得不是味道，总想写些东西，留下当时的心情写照，或一些事务，让日后回味一番。

不过，搞笑的是大件事记载的不多，留下的反而是一些杂记。或者觉得大件事都烙印在脑海里了吧，不需再写下来了。

写了好几年，才区区百来篇，实在少的可怜，若问我有些怎样的心得，不多，只有一句，随心所欲。

那么，到底写blog得到了些什么？真的不清楚，不过，现在的我，写blog就像，闲来无事，走进了一所有现场演奏爵士乐的酒吧，一个人坐在吧台旁，叫了杯啤酒，一边喝着酒，一边听着爵士乐，环顾四周，看着酒吧内的人生百态般逍遥自在。

根据医生的推算，还有两个月，四月二十四日就是老婆的预产期，女儿出世的日子。这时的心情还好，毕竟还有两个月的等待，不过，在准备功夫上可不能偷懒，应买的都写在清单上了，希望能在这一，两个星期内搞定。

暂时比较头疼的，莫过于女儿的体重，从超音波扫描得知，女儿体重是比一般同周期的婴儿大，若顺产的话，老婆该会比较辛苦。另外，从朋友口中得知，一般上，若胎儿体重较大，医生会建议剖腹生产，这样的话，老婆肯定会更加辛苦，要挨痛，身上还要留疤。

不过，最重要的还是女儿能健健康康的出世，那么如何的疼痛，或留疤都已不是问题了。

真正开始感受到老生常谈的 “养儿一百岁，长（常）忧九十九”。

政治

不懂政治，也不想去懂，可能是人云亦云吧，总觉得政治好黑暗，它就像欲望的深渊，名与利的追逐地，那伟大却单纯为人民谋福利的意念恐怕只是工具之一。

最近一连串的新闻，不多不少都让我心惊胆跳，说实在的，这些新闻真的好看过“珠光宝气”，但是非常可惜，结局肯定没有“珠光宝气”般和气收场。

其实，我真的孤陋寡闻，真想知道哪个国家的领袖是被歌颂的？还是家家有本难念的经，各有各的野心需要征服？

过山车

过年前写了一篇关于牛年的文章后，就突然销声匿迹了一段日子，其实并非又三分钟热度，只是在生活中碰上了一些事故，心情起伏蛮大，一直提不起精来。

过年前后，被一件件突如其来的消息吓的魂不附体，庆幸最终一切都安好无恙，犹如坐过山车似的，最终还是安全到站。

年过的虽然与往年有些不一样，但还不赖，至少，朋友间的往来还不至于完全中断，贺年戏依然有，再加上身份的不同，能够派红包，感觉还挺爽的。

在这段日子，得到了很多很多，但也失去了一些，真有些感慨。

真的，真的，要珍惜，要惜福，不要带着遗憾离开。

牛年来了！？

还有十天，就过年了。可惜，我至今都未感觉到新年的到来，觉得新年气氛很淡，除了电台力挺自己的贺年专辑外，街上都不觉有多少档口在卖年货。可能，马来西亚华人已开始把赴喜宴的习惯（姗姗来迟）也带过来了。

今年将是我第一次以一家之主的身份过年，感觉是挺爽的。家里所需的年货，家里的布置，都将由我两口子一手包办，应该会很忙碌吧。但是碍于公事繁忙，至今都还未真正筹备过年的东西，实在有些扫兴。

我看这周末，真的要使劲了！要不然，年货没有，年菜未准备，不要说过年，除夕团圆都不知道要如何过。

财神到

今年的财神竟然那么早就到了，真的有些意外。去年中，公司的业绩还不错，大伙儿对年底花红都有一定的信心，但是由于经济海啸的影响，大家都担心公司在花红方面会有所调整，不能达到大伙的预期。

星期一中午，已收到消息，公司将在星期五分发花红，大家都在议论纷纷，希望管理层能大发慈悲，让员工开心过年。今天午饭过后，收到同事的短讯，她将到总部去领大伙儿的花红大信封。回到公司，发现信封已到达了，立即便将信封派给同事们，一解他们的疑惑。霎那间，整个办公室都充满了欢笑声，想必公司没让员工失望，花红该是不错吧。我也迫不及待的拆开自己的大信封，看看实际的数字。哇！实在不错，在这间公司拼了这么多年，第一次拿这样的花红，还不赖。顿时，年终的蜜月旅行有望了！

一阵喧哗之后，总算回归平静，脑袋也清晰了些。于是，对员工们说了几句老套的话，“既然公司善待了我们，我们在这一年也不该松懈，要更加的努力，要不然，年底肯定没那么丰收了，那落差就会很大，会很失望的！”

好的开始是成功的一半，真希望今年的好事，会陆续有来，我真的要加倍努力才行，要不然，哪有本事买奶粉钱呢?

当你看到这个数目，你会想到什么？如果你是广东人的话，或者你会觉得这是一个好数目字，86 = “发咯！”。

对于一位身高才一点七的我来说，这绝对是一个恐怖数字，尤其是当这数字代表着我的体重！我的妈呀！之前，我最胖的时候是大约80公斤，花了好长一段时间才把体重降至75公斤左右（虽然略胖，但还能接受)，现在的我（还要是有背伤在身的我），要如何把这讨厌的86变成76呢？我看，在还未设定好今年的宏愿，这一项减肥大计肯定是势在必行，不能再拖了！

Happy NEW YEAR!!!! Finally, 2008 has left me. A big year for me, too much memories and greatest moments there, I really miss 2008.

I just read my previous post, which I had written in January 2008, it was like yesterday. Time really flying. Nevertheless, I just realized there is one thing I didn't get in 2008, and that's really something I wish to have, my house warming gift (Anyway, I never have a house warming party, so I guess I don't deserve any house warming gift)

2009, without having any fortune telling, or tarot card reading, I know there will be plenty more GOOD stuffs to come. Anyhow, in order to secure all these good stuffs, preparation work is still important. I believe in good luck, however I believe more in hard work.

To all my dear friend out there, I sincerely wishing you all the best in 2009, may all the good fortune be with you; happiness, wealthiness, healthiness and everything you name it, you have it.

As for the world, lets pray for the god, and hope IT will bless the world, will peace and happiness.

December - Movie

I haven't been storming the cinema for quite sometimes. However, due to plenty of holidays fall in December, I went and watching a couple of movies, inclusive Yes Man and a three other movies.

Bolt is an animation movie from Walt Disney. It was about Bolt, a dog who has being deceiving as super dog in TV shows, learn how to be a real dog through the journey to get back to his owner, Penny with two buddies, Mittens the abandoned house cat and Rhino, TV obsessed hamster.

Ip Man, martial art movie, played by Donnie Yen, about the early life of Wing Chun master, Ip Man, also well knowned as master of Bruce Lee. I like the fighting scene; it was well designed, and well performed. Ip Man will always be one of the best all time martial art movie.

Bedtime Stories, another Disney production, starred by Adam Sandler, tells a story about how a life of a hotel maintenance staff changes when bedtimes stories are told to his niece and nephew. These stories told were somehow became true in the real life, in some strange way.

Ip Man is my 1st pick because it is really entertaining, besides the action, the story plot is also well written, thus it stands out compare to the rest.

Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

Last Friday, I decided to bring my colleagues to The Curve, treat them lunch. None of us know what to try, then 1 of my colleague suggested to try the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant, according to him, this restaurant is inspired by the 1994 film Forrest Gump.

The restaurant is well decorated, and of course the food on the menu looks amazing too. Furthermore, the waiter here seems quite friendly, they gave you a warm greeting, and sunshine smiling face. After spending sometimes with the menu, my colleagues decided to let me take the lead. So, without hesitate, we ordered a few dishes, and share the food among each other. I was quite excited when I heard they serve Dr. Pepper as beverage, I haven't try once since I was back from the States. Nevertheless, the waiter also offer us to have free refill for our drink, if we are able to answer a few questions related to the movie correctly.

Overall, this place is decent, and the food is tasty, too bad, my wife doesn't really enjoy western food, else I will bring her to this place, maybe for Christmas celebration.

Yes Man

Watch this film on Sunday, it was quite funny and delightful to watch. Simple story, simple romance, and simple joke. However, I do like the message this film is trying to send, engage in life, get connected, say YES to opportunity.

It is quite true that most people would like to try various thing in their life, however, when the chances are there, they might find excuses not to participate in such an event. They prefer to have a more control, predicted and less risky life.

Sometimes, I just wonder if we let our life be a little bit unpredictable, a little bit adventurous, how will it end up? I guess it will be very lucky if we end up like Jim Carrey in Yes Man.

在大家都高喊Merry Christmas之际，我却在烦着如何搞定这星期日的冬至。由于家里有供奉神明，Caryn外婆一早已千叮万嘱，记得要搓汤圆，来庆冬至。

老爱吃甜食的我，却对汤圆没多大的兴趣，可能是因为老妈的厨艺有限，这么多年来，煮的汤圆都是最简单的那种，什么豆沙，黑芝麻，花生，红豆的馅统统不用想。

这一年的冬至，搓汤圆这玩意儿，该是我大展身手的时候了，希望能找一些食谱，看看有哪些汤圆较简单但却有新意的。

这时，想起老人家常说冬大过年，其实，是基于什么由来呢？不知有谁能告知我吗？

Nokia 5800

I have been using my Sony Ericsson P900 for quite sometimes (4-5 years). I would really like to get a new phone. There are couple of models that has been short listed earlier, SE X1, HTC Diamond, iPhone3G. However, they are still not my cup of tea, SE X1 is rather expensive(3k le!), whereas HTC sounds new to me, and lastly Iphone3G is not officially available in Malaysia.

Through some browsing and research, I then realize Nokia has designed a new hand phone, that trying to complete with Iphone market, and it was called "Tube - the iPhone killer" at early stage, and now is knowed as Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.

You can call this "Love at First Sight". Before I go into detail study of this phone, I have already fall in love with it, I would really want to own it. However, I am not going into detail about this phone, since there are tonnes of article all over the net.

According to mobileworld, Nokia will launch 5800 in Pavillion on 9th January 2009. I am really looking forward to it. The only fallback for me to own this phone - if it is pricey.

语塞

很多时候，遇见一些事情，或脑里有些想法，都很想立即写入blog里头，与人分享。但往往都有这样的难处，开了一篇新blog ，写了个题目，却没发把脑里的想法化作文字，久久不能下笔，挣扎了很久，不得不放弃，于是我的posts里头常有一些draft post，有题目，有一两段的文字，却不成文，也没法发表出来，这感觉其实不太好。有时，看回这一些被遗弃的题目，实在于心不忍，很想把它们完成，好让自己的感觉给抒发出来，但是，总是做不到，真不明白。有时候，这感觉就像恋爱里的一门，遇到对的人但时间不对；时间对了但总等不到对的人。

煮饭仔

自从老婆大人怀孕后，以鲜少下厨了。这么多个月都吃外头的熟食，总觉得好不健康。上星期天心血来潮，提议由我来担任大厨，让老婆来当副手。

一大早，就翻了几本烹饪书籍，挑了一道香橙鸡块来煮，到了菜市集，买了三只鸡腿，一些番薯叶及佐料，就回家大闹厨房了。

首先，把鸡腿去骨，再根据书内的方法炮制腌料，一小时后，将肉块用油炸至金黄色，然后准备浆汁，用鲜橙与橙汁，再经黍粉，由稀转浓，最后把浆汁淋在鸡腿肉块上就行了。

之后，再将番薯叶过油清炒，三两下功夫，也就煮好了。

这时，再添上两碗白饭，整个煮饭仔过程，就大功告成了。

虽说写blog是要把自己的东西记载下来，供日后有个回忆，但同时间也蛮希望能与人分享一下当时的心情和想法。于是对留言这回事，我都挺关注的。

我不是一个多产的写blog人，在三年内只写了八十多篇，但庆辛还有几位老友（都认识了十多个年头）光顾，在我的blog里留下了他们一些的看法和意见。老实说，若我说我不在乎，其实是有些骗人的，如真要只当回忆看待，写blog干麻？干脆开个Word或Notepad好了，还要大费周章上网，弄个blog回来搞屁（好像粗俗了些）。

之前，好像都有在文章中谢谢过这一班朋友，在此我也不厌其烦的再对你们说声谢谢，辛苦了！对你们的留言，我只有无言感激，在往后的日子，我希望能够分享更多有趣的，新鲜的话题，也希望你们能继续留言下去。

惭愧

受了十一年华文教育，还要是国内数一数二的独中，华文基础该是不错吧，我一直都认为是这样的。另外，自己也常用华文在博客里留下一些文字，记载一些关于自己的点点滴滴，所以，我想我对华文的掌握能力还不赖吧。

不过前几天，我开始怀疑自己的语文能力了。那天，同事要到我常去的饭店吃饭，想要我介绍几道菜，由于那同事不太懂华文，她要求我把那几道菜的名字写下，方便她点菜。难题来了，我竟然无法将每道菜的名字写下，非得依赖拼音输入法才能准确地把菜名写出。另外，也发现到自己的中文拼音也不准确，每每要尝试几遍才能将文字找出。再深入探讨下去，到底所写的文法对吗？还是胡乱的把所想的化为文字就算了。

我开始惭愧了，到底我的华文能力退到了什么程度？

Today tried to get some old project documents, accidentally bump into one project directory, and realized there are some photos taken a few years back, and that was my first offshore experience.

It was kind of fun during my 1st visit to offshore platform, since it was some totally new experience. I got to ride in a chopper, to the middle of no way, just surrounding by water. People who work there mostly on shift basic, each team shall stay on board for 2 weeks and have another 2 weeks off onshore. However, as for contractor, it shall depends on the job duration, I once heard there are people who has been staying offshore for 2 months without transfer. Offshore working hour is long, 12hours per day. There are 2 shifts, morning shift starts 0600, where night shift starts 1800. The meal here is free, and the cafeteria is open 24 hours. Therefore, I used to put on weight after I came back from offshore job because we can eat all we can during our stay on offshore platform.

I haven't been to offshore platform for a while, in fact, my offshore safety passport has been expired, unless I got waiver from the customer, I will not be allow to go onboard. Sometimes, I do miss the Offshore experience, and hope to go onboard again.

My Sunday

Every sunday is basically the same for Caryn and I, the usual routine for us will be breakfast, couch potatoes, lunch, movies/couch potatoes again, dinner and then triple couch potatoes, and good night.

However last Sunday has been a little bit different. I got a small gathering with 3 close friends of mine. Since my wedding, I have almost forgotten how long haven't I spoken with my friends for more than 30 minutes. So, we all met up in WongKok Char Chan Teng at Brem Mall. Anyway there is nothing much about this mall, it is so called the 1st digital mall in Kepong, however it is really nothing fancy about this mall, and I guess I hardly spend my time here if not for this gathering. Though the mall isn't interesting, the food is quite delicious, and the best part of it, it is free, thanks to Bryan who treated us the lunch.

We then stayed in the restaurant, and start chatting. We spent two hours plus in the restaurant chatting all sort of things happen surroudning us, which was quite fun actually. (I hope Caryn will understand that, because I am sure Caryn and I are not into such conversation, politics, econ, properties and etc.)

After we finished up with our gathering, I then realized they have interest to visit 1 of the show unit around Kepong area. So Caryn and I decided to tag along, and it was another wonderful experience, because most show unit is purposely designed to attract buyer, and we likes to see how people decorate and design the house. The show unit is a 3 storey linked house (Corner lot). It is well designed, and we all love the interior.

We chat with the property agent, and realize all units have been booked, except for bumi lots, nevertheless, there are already dozen of names registered to q-up for the bumi lots. It seems like no matter how bad is the economy, there are still a lot of people can afford to spent, and invest. These houses are not cheap, it costs 500k and above. Furthermore, the next phase will be even expensive, they plan to sell it at 700k, and the corner lot will be around 1mil.

We then call it a day after visiting the show unit, and back home to continue with our usual night routine.

提心吊胆

住公寓有些什么问题？我其实也不太清楚，毕竟住公寓的日子尚浅，一切还算安好。

不过，前几天，情况变了，原来最切身的问题当然就是治安问题。上星期五回到家中，接了友人一通电话，被告知我的公寓有两个单位入贼了。当时，我都不知该庆幸或担忧好，因为被入贼的单位分别是B-16-7及B-19-7，而我的单位是B-18-7。

所以这几天，都在烦该如何加强单位保安，以免成为贼人的下一个目标，也蛮气恼，觉得公寓的保安实在差，好说，这公寓收取的费用也不便宜，但是设备差强人意之余，现在又有爆窃的问题，实在令人提心吊胆。

我想还是多买几个锁头回来上锁，自求多福的好。

危机

昨晚，在老板的房内谈了两个小时多，回到家中已是九时许了。（当年九点回家是等闲事，但对现在的我来说，这是奇迹）

所谈的都围绕着事业，前途，远景等话题。发现老板对我颇有微言，觉得我对公司的贡献比以前少了很多。

记得在刚刚出来打拼的时候，真的很有火，求知欲超强，什么都想懂，什么都想学，但是到了这一刻，竟然停下了脚步，每天回到公司，除了分配任务给下属，看看报告，写写电邮，与顾客开会以外，都没再进修了，对公司的新产品都不再感兴趣，对技术，学术上的学习也没想过加深了解，现在回想起来，真的有点问题，不对，该是有很大的问题才真！

虽然接近2009还有一些日子，我已迫不期待的为自己设下了一些计划，希望在事业上有一些改进，要不然未到中年危机，已有事业危机了。

Google Map

老早已听闻Google Map的厉害，但都不曾使用过，今天闲来没事干，就“谷歌”一下，哇哇不得了，清楚到连街名都能找到，再加上“街景"的功能，实在神奇。

突然怀念起大学生涯，立即输入大学的名字，希望从中找到当年住过的公寓，看看那里的街景，缅怀一番。不负所望，三两下手脚，已成功将那地方寻的，兴奋不已，大学生涯的点点滴滴立即涌现在脑海中。

退休，难吗？

为了生计而干活，该是大多数人工作的原因吧？

为了兴趣而干活呢？这我不太清楚，至少，在我的生活圈子里，大部分人都是前者。

那么到底要在怎样的情形下才能退下来，享清福呢？该是有一大笔储蓄来花，不再有任何的经济负担的时候吧？

但是，人心难测，当外人觉得你已具备退休的条件了，但你并不是这么想，你可能还背负着更多，你觉得你还能赚更多的钱，拥有更响的名气，又觉得一辈子努力，白手兴家的事业，没人承继，非常不甘心。

其实，有必要吗？你应该惜福，应该学懂放手，珍惜身边拥有的一切。盲目的追求只会让你失去更多，赔了健康，赔了时间，赔了家庭。

退休，并不难，放下才难。

卡拉不再ok

周日，与老婆及她的一位友人到Neway唱k，好多新歌都不会唱，幸亏多的TVB剧集的影响，至少还有一首“爱不疚”是能够整首歌唱完的。

这才发现，婚前，唱k都会是我与友人的假期消遣活动之一；婚后，可能身份的变化，朋友们有任何活动都不再通知我了。偶尔在朋友的博客里，知道朋友们的聚会，活动，都觉得与我无关了。可能，朋友间的感情建立的不够深吧，所以才会导致这样的局面。

往后，除了一些重大的日子外，我想都鲜少有机会与这些朋友见面了，唯有借此向你们说声：“朋友，你还好吗？愿安康”

美剧

从小都有看美剧的习惯，那时的 Airwolf，Macgyer，A-team，Knight rider 等剧集都是我童年的最爱。对剧中的角色，故事及特技都羡慕不及，常幻想自己能像剧中的英雄般有非一般的智慧，驾着拥有人工智慧的超级跑车，到处锄强扶弱。

不知为何，这习惯总是断断续续，常会出现空窗期，上了中学后，初中那三年都不曾记得有那套美剧能让我留下印象的，那时该是忙于其他活动吧（玩电脑游戏较多）。学院时代，倒是有一两套美剧让我定时定侯留守在电视机前的，The X-Files，一套脍炙人口的科幻剧集，故事围绕着外星人，特异功能以及种种科学不能解释的超自然现象，满足了向来爱幻想，爱新奇事物的我。另一套以学院生涯为主题的Beverly Hills 90210也让我留下不少印象，很向往那种生活，也对少男少女的情感产生了好奇心。

出奇的是在美国求学的两年除了继续追看仍在热播的X-Files以外，竟然对其他出名的剧集如Er，NYPDBlues等没甚兴趣，反而常为了港剧，驱车到城里租看。

留学回来后，与美剧完全绝缘，直到这一两年才对美剧重拾兴趣，反恐剧集“24”是我的最爱，最近又陆陆续续的看了Lost，Heroes ，Desperate Housewives，Prison Break等剧集，都各有精彩剧情，让人有追看的冲动。

今年又多了一套让我期待的美剧：Fringe（危機邊緣/迷離檔案），有点像The X-Files，探讨超自然现象，加上一些似是非是的科学解释，又渗入一些神秘机构操控，还有一个怪诞的科学家，实在有太多该看的元素。

哇！原来美剧都陪我度过了不少日子，写到这里，脑海中还浮现了好多遗忘了的片集，那些充满笑声的环境喜剧如Full House ，Friends ，Seinfeld ，Family Ties都一一在幕。

美国总统大选

十一月四日，美国举行总统大选，这可能是个历史性时刻，民主党的奥巴马有可能成为美国首位黑人总统。但那跟我又有何关系呢？说实在，的确没有任何关系，我只是有些八卦，很好奇奥巴马能否入驻白宫，创造历史性一刻。

无论在经济，文化，娱乐，科技等方面，美国都对世界各国都有蛮大影响，这一次的总统大选也不例外。在未来四年内，美国新总统的政纲都不多不少会对各国造成一定的影响。所以说没有任何关系也不那么正确。

那么，既然我有些八卦，有些好奇，那么，我对这两位候选人可有多少认识？很惭愧，认识不多，大致上，都是从报章，电台得知他们的一些些资料与消息。若是我，会支持那一位？哈哈，既然认识不多，也没有什么资格选吧，但我想我是对创造历史性时刻有多一些兴趣，但愿希望美国子民没我这样无聊。

古典音乐

向来都没有什么文化气息的我，除了在学院时代上了一门音乐入门101之后，都没什么机会，也没什么兴趣接触古典音乐。什么莫扎特，贝多芬，英雄交響曲，都一窍不通。

不过最近因为某些因素，竟然听起古典音乐来。而这一些经过从新编曲的音乐，与一般的古典音乐有所不同，但感觉还蛮好的，轻快多了，所用的乐器也相当简单，不像交响乐队般，那么的澎湃，激扬。

开始对古典音乐有了一些不同的见解；原来，古典音乐并不沉闷，也不枯燥，相反，古典音乐的旋律更优美，更有变化，更能冲击情感。

往后的日子，该有多一项嗜好了，空闲时该会多了解一下古典音乐，看看我会对那位伟大的作曲家的作品有兴趣，再拿出来分享，分享。

去年，一分之差，哈米顿失了世界冠军头衔；今年，一分之差，哈米顿赢了世界冠军头衔。

失之毫厘，谬以千里，这道理老早就晓得了，却没有太大的感触，直到爱上了这项运动，才真正地了解到其中的奥妙。

每一分站的比拼，都必须全力以赴，每一分站的积分，都必须尽力争取，其余的，就靠那一点点的运气吧。

我想成功也该是这样的，若没有充分的准备，不尽心尽力的去尝试，就算机会给了你，也未必能有所表现。

写写停停，停停写写，搁置了两个多月，又回来了。

为何停了？没有东西好记载了吗？太忙没时间留下一些话语？或是没兴趣了呢？还是没有阅读者的支持呢？

其实，都不重要吧！重要的是，我还是回来了，能够让自己的一点一滴透过文字，记录下来，还是挺爽的，姑且再看看这次能维持多久。

Ethernet Access in Office

Nowadays, I guess a lot of company have provided Ethernet access for the ease of communication with the outside world, maybe to the vendor, customer or among colleagues. My company has provided us with Ethernet access facility too. However, due to company policies, our IT department has restricted us to access certain site. Unfortunately, most of the restricted sites are some favourites site that most people using nowadays, such as friendster and facebook. Furthemore, the usage of IM has also been prohibited.

Sometimes, I just wonder, as Management point of view, is this (accessing the above mentioned site/using IM in office hour)really a serious issue? By blocking all these website, does it help to improve the performance of the staff? I rather give them more freedom and evaluate their performance based on the quality of work they have done, but not numbers of time they spent browsing Ethernet.

P/S : I said so because I am also one of the victim of limited access via Ethernet. :P. No more facebook in working hour.

Since moving into my new condo, there are only a few activities I will do. Playing PS2 has been one of my favourite pass time. However, there are also a few incidents which related to PS2 and none of them is good thing. On Monday night, I just realized the game that I play on PS2 is stucked. I can't access to the next stage, have been trying to figure out if it is a Disc problem or the console issues, but still have no idea. I guess I got to bring it for repair, and hopefully it can be repaired, else I will have to stop playing PS2, and it might be a good thing to somebody.

又是观后感

赤壁，好看吗?

戏还没完结，无从下结论。只能这么说，待在戏院两小时多，还没打瞌睡，还能看完半套戏。

由于是中文大片，又是与历史有关，这出戏肯定受到非一般注目。阅读了好一些有关吴宇森的赤壁及一般人的赤壁，发现到有一句话还蛮好用的 - 每个人的心中都有一个三国，（李安，你好棒）。

说实在，我心中的诸葛亮绝对不是这样的，我也不会欣赏戏里的幽默（虽然我也笑了）；不过有一处，我真的要与孔明及周瑜学习，看完上半部，我也需要冷静一下，要不，如何撑得到下部呢？

武戏 - 还好，导演很用心地让每一位武将都发挥了，但真的有需要吗？我宁愿故事精彩一些，人物刻画多一些，好过让他们都变了“李连杰”，我只需要一个李连杰就够了。另外，听说有好些人都在武戏这一方面有微言，骑马打战的场面真的难拍吗？为何大多武将都鲜少骑马作战呢？

赤壁，好看吗?

赤壁上部，能看 - 但非经典。
赤壁下部，依然会看 - 期待经典。

"Why So Serious?"

其实你真的不能不认真看待这一套片子，也想不到有什么理由不看这套片子。

近年来，超级英雄影片已是暑假必上的片种，也基于这一元素，大场面，特技，电脑科技的应用，观众也早已习惯了，那么，到底还有哪些板斧才能让这一类片种有突破呢？原来还是说故事的手法，剧本的重要性。

导演与编剧的功力实在不小。整套戏大约长两小时半，却没冷场，精彩连连，更有演员带动了观众的情绪，大伙随故事的情节有所起伏。

后记：若有留意娱乐新闻的朋友也该知道这一部影片是Heath Ledger(希斯·莱杰)的遗作，而他对于小丑的演绎，获得一致的认同与赞赏，实在可慰。

Hancock

该忙的都忙完了，是时候休息一下。这星期三，看了这一部片子，觉得还蛮不错的。

超级英雄看得多，那么烂的超人还是第一次在戏院里看到（卡通 - The Incredible有些雷同，但没那么夸张。）。不过，还好故事后期有交待超人变烂的原因，所以他还是值得原谅的。

对故事的铺排挺满意，但总觉得短了些，人物的刻画其实能更立体些，不过有闻导演说不爱拍太长的电影，觉得观众在电影院待太久会辛苦，另外又说故事有太多不同的元素，不需局限在男女主角的感情戏。我个人认为若能有多感情戏，才能让人更加投入，更能突出这个烂超人的与众不同。

蛮欣赏导演的幽默，取John Hancock这一名字很贴切，也很有意思。就像戏里女主角对Hancock说的，你是上帝派来的保险。

后记：看了一些观后感，很佩服一些观众，太能联系了。据说，这套戏大有大美国色彩，(Hancock的老鹰)，Hancock就如美国政府，虽然在一些国际大事上，犯了点错，不过最后各国还是需要他的帮助，美国依然是最棒的。你又如何看呢？

280608 - Part 2

完成人生一大事后，当然要庆祝一下，我们选择了上山观赏容祖兒Star Light演唱會。

下午六时许，阿良与娜娜前来兜我俩上山，大约一句钟，已经到达山顶了。大约八时二十分，演唱會开始了。这一次已是第三次到云顶捧容祖兒的场了。还好，每一次都有惊喜，有突破，容祖兒的状态超水准，舞跳的超劲，超辣；歌也唱的格外动听。另外，或许前一天遭遇投诉，容祖兒已事先透露将会有Encore，让大伙儿更加兴奋，更加投入。大约十时四十分，演唱會终于结束了，感觉超High。

回想当年第一次，一个人孤身观看容祖兒的演唱會，而现在终能握着另一半的手，一面观赏，一面唱和，感觉徊然不同，好比电影中的那一句，永远不知道盒里下一颗巧克力是什么味道。人生永远是充满期待，充满惊奇的。

一直在谈结婚的事，又来了，不过这次是真正的结婚了，注册去也.

真的看太多港剧了，还以为整个婚姻注册过程好神圣，好庄严，其实不然，一切都好比煮快熟面，三分钟即好。

进入房内，就各就各位坐下，宣誓官开始派发结婚证书正副本让证婚人签名，之后就到我与Caryn签，然后，就开始宣誓仪式，宣誓官的说话太快了，都听不清楚，印象中，只有一段说的比较清楚-“重婚是有罪的，要坐牢的”，而男女双方该在何时说我愿意也完全不晓得，很草率的说了声“我愿意”后，开始交换结婚戒指，再加上一张大合照，整个婚姻注册过程就这样结束了。

搬家

其实已搬进新家三个星期多了，但旧家的东西还未完全搬过去。

这天回到旧家，眼见一堆凌乱的DVD,CD, 漫画等杂物，好混乱，不知哪些该搬，哪些该留，哪些该去？

情感是否也该如此？将美好的留下，残缺的去掉，好让新的一切从美满开始。

讨厌

我想好多人都有这样的经验，在公司待了那么多年，面对过这么多的顾客，有些顾客的态度实在是很要不得。这次我又遇到了。

他未来到我们的公司，就提出了诸多要求，例如，需要专车接送往返酒店，需要互联网接头，需要个人专线等服务。在工程方面，他又显得好厉害似的，什么都有意见，好像什么都懂，连我们该如何测试我们的机件，他都要干涉。然而，我们对某些提问的解答，他都没耐心听，也不做思考，就一一否决了。

面对过好多比他资深的顾客，或名气比他公司大的公司的顾客，都没有那么无理取闹，他们的要求都很得体，我们都很乐意为他们多做一点；但是，这一次，好像没那么幸运，遇到了一位令人讨厌的顾客，真希望快快将工程赶起来，把“瘟神”送走。

蛮佩服一些朋友，他们对于写blog的热诚实在是“无得顶”。除了常常跟新blog的内容，另外为了让众多好友能了解，明白blog的内容，无所不出奇计，不只图文并茂，另加双语翻译，有者还用三语。哇，实在让我连声说声“钦敬钦敬，佩服佩服”。

大件事

消失了一个多月，终于又提起精神写blog啦。

其实也不完全跟没精神有关，只是这一个多月里，太多大件事发生了。

一、五月三日 - Caryn的母亲过世。
二、五月九日 - 我发病了。
三、五月十五日 - 我进院了。
四、五月二十四日- 我妈进院了。
五、六月九日 - 我结婚了。

另外，我还要在这一段日子里，把新家的装修搞好，把一些些重要的家私搬进，好在结婚时，有个属于我与老婆的小天地。可想而知，这一个多月是多么的忙碌。庆幸的是这一切都办妥了，现在终于能好好的享受一下二人世界。

这么多年来，已忘了有否写过一些歌颂妈妈的文章，如没有的话，该是时候了。

前几天，有了一些很不愉快的经历，也因为有了这些经历，我有些话相对两位妈妈说。

妈妈，谢谢你多年来的无微照料，细心关怀，与拥有一颗宽恕的心，尽管你的不孝子常无理取闹，出言不顺，你都能一一的承受及原谅。其实，你的不孝子是明白的，他也不想如此地对待你，只不过，大家都习惯了这一种生活方式，所以，有时难免再犯同一错误。妈妈，你怀胎十月，三十一年的养育之恩，你的孩子是完完全全感受到的，我能做的该是尽量控制自己的脾气，减少言语间的冲撞，去好好的爱你，妈！我爱你！

妈咪，那天我是如此称呼你吧？其实我也不太记得了。我想如何称呼该不是那么重要吧，最重要我已认定你是我的妈妈了。打从跟淑芬相识以后，都常会与你碰面，虽然相处的日子不长，交流也有限，但从淑芬与妹妹们的谈话中，我很肯定你是位伟大的妈妈，淑芬爸爸由于工作缘由，常不在家，家里五个孩子的一切，大小事务都由你一手包办，之后，当孩子们都长大了，需要离家到城中留学，你又一个人，独自守候在家，打点一切，让回家度假的孩子们有个好安心休息的温暖的家。

你的离去，大家都很舍不得，不过看到你的痛楚，尽管多么舍不得，我们都没有多少选择，只希望你能走的安详。真的很遗憾，无法在你最清醒地时候叫你一声妈咪，不过我想你是听到的。我能承诺的是我会好好的照顾淑芬，你对她的关怀和爱护都转嫁给我，我会一生一世的爱护她，守护她。妈咪，母亲节快乐！

展期

最近好象有些不顺利，好多事务都不能如期完成，手头上的两大工程都遇上了一些技术问题，被逼向顾客要求将完工日子展延到八月中，但如今还未收到顾客的答复，情况有些不妙。

另外，本人的另一大计也面临展期的危机，不过若展期的话，一展就是三年，实在让我烦透了。没有什么期望，只希望一切都能如期进行，要不然，五月会是一个相当难撑的一个月。

写了那么久，终于有了一些突破，一个月十二篇，对我来说已是一件很了不起的事了。其实从没想过要写多少，也没想过会写多久，想写就写。

不过，话说回头，朋友的支持多多少少有些帮助，每每收到一些评语，我都格外开心。至少，这让我觉得我不是在对空气谈话，身边还有一些有心人在关怀我。

感动

好多年前，有位好友，蛮感性的，常被动人情节感动，搞得双眼通红，满眶热泪。当时，实在搞不明白，雄赳赳一位男生，那能如此“下衰”，一脸鼻涕，一脸泪水的形象太要不得，男人应该流血不流泪才对嘛。

时隔多年，我这才发现，我好像有些接近那位好友了。近几年来，每当碰上一些感人情节，鼻子总是酸酸的，眼睛总会湿湿的，只差没稀里哗啦的大哭一场。

到底是什么改变了呢？是因为懂得珍惜，害怕失去。

not so good weekend

Since thursday, I felt sick, went to doctor, took medicine and get home earlier to rest. hopefully can recover soon. Too bad, it doesn't work that way, I am not only having fever, my nerve also got inflammation, so my back and left leg are in terrible pain. Luckily, I got some pain killer to reduce the pain but it is not a good way. Do hope I can get better in coming week. Sigh.. still got lots of things to handle, this unforeseen sickness really cost me a lot.

外婆

原来外婆离开我已有好长的一段日子了，十一年了。九七年的一月，她离开了，我却无法见她最后一面，当时，我在美国。

这几天，不知为何，好怀念她，有好多话想说，但不知从何说起。小时候，老爸老妈都忙生意，家里只有我和外婆，家务都由外婆来处理，另外，外婆烧饭的技术还不赖，好爱吃她煮的海南鸡饭，咖哩鸡。现在再也吃不回那种味道了。

实在有太多回忆了，都不能一一尽录。

外婆，我好想念你，你在那里可好吗？外公有陪伴你吗？妈妈和我过的还不错，你不用太忧心，我会很疼妈妈的。

手术成功，身体健康

Caryn妈妈将会在今天下午被推进手术室，进行肝脏肿瘤切除手术，希望她能“大步跨过”，顺顺利利，平平安安捱过这一项手术，更希望在手术康复后，不再被癌症困扰，愿她身体健康。

后记：由于肿瘤扩展太快，医生宣告无法切除，需要另寻其他治疗方法，真希望能尽快找到新方法将病情控制下来。

隐形眼镜

曾经试过戴隐形眼镜，感觉很麻烦，戴了不到几天就决定放弃。从此都没有再戴的念头了。最近，被告知一般外景拍照，不戴眼镜的效果会比戴眼镜来的好，为了让婚纱照更好看，终于又戴起隐形眼镜了。

对我来说，这真是一项苦差，佩戴有难度，保养有难度，并不如一般眼镜，不想用了，随手脱下即可，不需确保双手的卫生，又要带备容器来收隐形眼镜。

隐形眼镜 - 对某些人来说可能是又爱又恨，我却对之毫无好感，要不是为了拍照，我是不太可能带隐形眼镜的。

Project Manager

Actually, I don't really bother what title my boss gave me, I am more concern on my wages. This title has been followed me for 13 months after I returned to Transwater, however I don't really feel that I deserved this title. Main reason - I am not really managing projects, I am more like application engineer at the moment, or maybe a "senior" application engineer, since I am still involve a lot in detail engineering, and software configuration.

I guess it is really the time to set a target for myself, or for the job that I am doing, I need to transfer or train up my subordinate to take over the detail engineering role. I need to focus in project management, schedule, costing and etc.

So, please call me engineer before I really feel that I deserve to be call a P.M.

I am in Miri for a meeting. Since not sure how long the meeting is going to take, decided to go for a later flight back to KL. I have asked my admin to book me a 615pm flight connecting to Kuching and departure at KL around 940pm.

The meeting went on smooth, and finished around 12. So, decided to try my luck at the airport, to put my name in the waiting list for 220pm fligth. Unfortunately, luck is not at my side, so decided to go to Miri office, to wait for the booked flight. When I reached Miri office around 315pm, I just realized from my colleagues, the is another direct flight which take off at 415pm. I am so upset because when I was in airport asking for assistant saying I would like to get back to KL earlier, and they never suggest me to put my name in the 415pm waiting list, and now I ended up in Miri office, got to wait for another 3 hours to get the flight, and back to home only around 11pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

去了婚纱店后，终于对自己的婚礼有些期待，有些feel了。之前，一直忙装修的问题，无暇为婚礼做准备，现在终于有了一点进度。

有些可惜，店长不让我们拍照，所以无法与大伙儿分享所选的婚纱及晚装。不过，有了意外收获，找到了Caryn三姨的儿女做花仔，花女。这对兄妹可是大有来头的，他们曾经在MyFM DJ林德荣的婚礼上做过花童。

Recently, I am interesting in budget planning and budget planning software. Probably, it is because of getting marry soon and renovation, I need to look after my budget to ensure I got enough money to get marry and pay for the renovation.

That day, downloaded a budget planner software, and it seems quite good, much more better than my own spreadsheet budget planner. I guess I will stick with this software for time being.

Do hope this budget planner really helps me to save some money by having a better control and understand my own financial status

四一。哥哥

谭咏麟的歌迷竟然写张国荣，好像有些怪，其实不然，只因我并不是超级死忠粉丝，也没实实在在经历过那个八十年代，也许那时我还小。

一转眼，哥哥已离开五年了。不过由于科技发达，我们还是有好多机会接触哥哥的一些些的音乐，电影。

对于一位优秀艺人（应该称之巨星吧）的离去，实在觉得惋惜，每每提起香港娱乐巅峰期，哥哥，姐姐等都是代表人物，他们无论在舞台，戏剧的演出，表现都是那么得精彩，让人惊叹的。

在此，愿所有爱哥哥的人继续支持哥哥，也希望哥哥在另一国度里，继续发光发热。

决战保龄球

星期五晚，公司举办了一场保龄球赛，眼见工作伙伴们都兴致勃勃，我也不顾背痛的困扰，报名去也。

到了球场，才发现这是一场团体赛，每球队都以F1车队命名。我这才忧心起来，若我表现不好，连累队友，那该如何？于是，立即明察暗访，来个“大起低”，经过一番努力，把形势弄清后，

我的心才开始定下来。结论 - 我这组“法拉利”其实一点都不“法拉利”，除了衣服颜色像以外，实力相去甚远，简直是一组杂牌兵，要赢比赛，谈何容易。

比赛开始后，大家都各展所长，用尽十八般武艺，在球场上厮杀。这时，我才放下的“忧心”又开始不安分了，原来我是彻彻底底不可能进行这项运动的。一开始把手中的保龄球举起的动作还好，但接下来一连串的动作对一个有背疾的人来说，简直就是恶梦。要有效的让滚出的保龄球维持直线，击中保龄樽；又要顾及保护背部，将疼痛减到最低点，对我来说可是相当吃力，结果我的得分是超低的，三场的总和只有161。

比赛结束后，大会公布成绩，蛮意外也挺讽刺的，他们不只是宣布了最高分的团队及个人，他们也公布了分数最低的男女参赛者。

当然，我是入围竞选最低分的男参赛者之一，最后也不负众望，很荣幸夺得个人有史以来最特别的奖项及RM50.00的奖励。

Making A Call

Make a call seems like an easy job. Pick up the phone, dial the number, then either get connected, and talk to the person; or can't get the person due to line busy, no service and etc.

How about when you really need to talk to someone, and you couldn't get him? Due to some project issues, I need to discuss with the project manager who based in Myanmar. Made a call on Thursday afternoon, was told it was Myanmar public holiday, the Project manager is not in office, and advise me to call his mobile in Myanmar. Unfortunately can't get through.

Drag til this morning, tried the office number again, and realized the project manager is actually back in Malaysia for holiday, and will be back in Myanmar on coming Saturday. Since it is so urgent, I tried to call the rest to see if any of them got his KL mobile number, and seems like no one has his contact. Finally got his secretary, and realize he is on the flight to Bangkok. Finally got his Thailand mobile number, and will give him a call in a short while when he departures in Bangkok.

Gosh, have you ever try to call a person using 3 countries number in 24 hours??

Renovation

As mentioned earlier, planning to move into new condo, so lots of things got to do. For the past 2 months, besides struggle with works, how to use my limited budget to built up my dream house is also one big task.

Caryn and I have lots of quarrel on to the renovation, from kitchen cabinet to prayer cabinet, from plaster ceiling to painting. Every little thing can be the cause of quarrel. It was frustrating, and very demotivating. However, I guess we both learnt a lot from these quarrel. In a way, it did helps to strengthen our relationship.

I guess, this renovation plan not only about the house, it is also about our soul.

FAT

When you see this title, what will you think?

People who works in my industry will probably know FAT is actually stand for Factory Acceptance Test.

Recently, we are preparing very hard on FAT for one metering system involved 3 parties, Myanmar, Malaysia and Thailand. This week we have started with the testing, and struggled with the customer. It is quite frustrated because these people don't really have confident in us because their initial plan is to get UK vendor to execute the job. So, they have tonnes of questions and comments while the testing is being performed. These has slowed the progress, and we were the one who were blamed.

Really hope FAT can be completed as smooth as possible, and get the system delivered to Myanmar on time.

p/s : I will normally turn "fat "after FAT, any idea why? :)

钱不够用 - 一般人都会面对的问题，但熟悉我的朋友该很少机会听我这样说吧，原来不是不说，只是时辰未到罢了。

这一年，将有两“大”计划，都需要$$。前几天稍微有空，略约算一算，乖乖不得了，超支了！！这才发现，我手头上的储蓄其实是少得可怜。若想将两大计划搞得尽善尽美，真是谈何容易。

左思右想之下，唯有忍痛把先前的构思统统去掉，一切从简。而接下来的日子，我只能以一字为首-省。吃饭要省，看戏要省，开车要省，统统都省。

Long Time No Write

So many things that I would like to share, however I guess I am a bit too lazy, and a bit too busy. Since end of 07, til now, I have been complaining about too much work load, but too little time, and I guess this situation will be dragging til April 08.

Anyway, I still manage to catch a break during Chinese New year, had some gambling session, gathering, and hell lot of dining sessions. So, I end up breaking records, I had the most number of "lou sang" in this year, shortest CNY holiday, infact, I didn't take any leave for the CNY, what else, least number of movies that I watch in CNY, only manage to catch 2 movies, oh ya, and most important I break my Weight record.. now is 82kg liao.. so SAD!!! :(

So many to share, but so little time to write. Guess got to put a stop now, hope I got more time to share more, bout my wedding preparation, my condo renovation and etc.

成家立室

新年快乐！哈哈，好像有些迟，不过还好，依然是正月，在这里祝大家万事如意，心想事成，身体健康！

好一段日子没写blog啦！从香港回来后，就一直忙到现在，未有时间好好停顿下来，整理一下心情。

踏入新的一年，已有不少大计，现在已开始逐步迈进，希望在2008年，在人生的旅途上有些大改变。

在此，先向大家公布一个喜讯，我要“成家立室”了！三年前在怡保路一带的公寓，买下了其中一个单位，现已竣工，能入伙了。

对这所公寓满期待的，因为它可是我第一间属于自己（注：惭愧，其实不完全是，因老爸有份合资）的物业，真希望能做到公寓虽小，万物齐全，舒适温暖，拥有家的感觉。
接下来的日子，我该会为装修，家具等问题而忙碌。现在还蛮担忧的，本人对美感，艺术，设计毫无天分，若靠个人努力，我真不敢想象会把公寓搞成什么样子。我想较实际的做法，还是让专业人士去代劳吧，把自己的意念传达给室内设计师，让他把我梦想的家给绘出来，再依图装修，布置。

朋友，是时候让你们贡献啦！我已开始期待你们的入伙礼物，我一定会在新家添置一个架子来摆放你们的礼物。

投名状

喜爱看电影（注：娱乐片而已，文艺片guabehhiao）的我，却不曾写观后感，总觉得这很个人，不需分享。

看了投名状后，我不得不写，因为之前看了太多太烂的中文古装大片，好不容易才有一套让我看得投入，爽快，迫不及待与人分享的电影。

故事不算复杂，兄弟情仇，能共患难，却不能享富贵，理念不同，导致杀机浮现；另加清末朝廷腐败，权力斗争结合成的一部影片。

片中演员的表现让我耳目一新，一直以来，李连杰给我的感觉都是动作明星，这一次，他把庞青云演活了，初时战败的失落，中期有勇有谋的表现，后期被权力冲昏了头脑，在兄弟与权力中的抉择都演的相当称职。

刘德华的赵二虎，感觉上是最讨好，最可悲，但却最幸福的角色。讨好-性格鲜明，义字当头；可悲-被兄弟，妻子背叛；幸福-至死都不知道妻子红杏出墙，兄弟背信弃义。

金城武的姜武阳是唯一把投名状灌注到底的角色，由开始对大哥的信任，拜服，服从，到后来因为大哥舍弃投名状，弑弟后，信念破灭而崩溃。最终依投名状，刺杀庞青云，以做了断。

Something about Myanmar

Had a project kick off meeting with customer. It is an overseas project, we are going to upgrade the system in Myanmar.

I don't know much about Myanmar except it is part of the south east asia. After this meeting I gain another few more info about this country.

1. Credit card is not used in Myanmar.
2. Foreigner is advise to use US Dollar instead of kyat (Myanmar currency).
3. Weather of Myanmar at certain place can be as low as 4-5 deg Celsius (At my project site).
4. Documentation sent via courier service will be open for inspection and seal back before it reach the receiver.
5. It seems like the only courier service in Myanmar is DHL.
6. Cell phone is not widely use in Myanmar because the SIM card is more expensive than a phone.

Oh ya, these information might not be 100% correct, if you guys got some info, please update me.

I hate November 2007

Last day of November 2007, I really hope this day can pass as soon as possible. Though today is my dad birthday, I shouldn't say so, I just so happen to really hate this month. First of all, I was glad that I can do some gym, and looking forward to have a chance to keep fit. Unfortunately, it is actually where my nightmare haunted me again. It is really like the Freddie in Nightmare of Elm Street, no matter how many times he vanished, as long as the box office is good, he will be back.

I hurt my injured back again, and at the same time, I was having fever. So, I was like lying on the bed and suffer pain from head to toe, it was really torture. Had 2 really unpleasant nights, can't sleep, can't move and unstoppable unbearable pain. Finally, I can't take it anymore, I asked my dad to send me to emergency ward in University Hospital for injection to stop the pain. I thought everything will starts getting better, who knows, the pill I took for my throat infection was too strong. The same night, I was suffered from gastric, and vomitted.

Nevertheless, I am busy with so many works on hand like I mentioned in my last two posts, and I am still stuck with these projects, and I cannot predict when can I get over with them. Furthemore, while I am rushing with projects, and meetings, sad to say, I am having running nose again. One hand holding the tissue role, where another hand typing the project execution plan.

I am so hate november 2007.

Sashimi

This week is another horrible week for me. It is still about my projects. Someone has desribed my so called "multi-tasking" as Octopus, which I am quite agreed. However, pity me, this octopus is no longer alive, it has become sashimi.

After submission of documentation, customer has commented some of the information I provided is not accurate. I believe this is a common practise whereby customer reviewed the info, and we re-submit for review. However, this particular customer turn it into a big issue, he complaint to my boss, and question if I am capable to handle the project. This is really frustrating, I have been working in this field for 8 years plus, and this is the "1st time"(that I aware of) customer has doubt in me.

Nevertheless, another project that I am handling also puzzled me. It is running smooth, until recently, I just realize the whole concept of the system is not proper, yet the testing with customer is on this week. (Actually is NOW, however I still got time to write blog, :P) I have not yet address the issue to customer, I really like to see the customer impression when I inform him about this.

Mutlitasking

Two huge projects have been handovered to me, and these projects require a lot of documentation to submit for approval. Morning, I might be writing technical proposal for project A,noon I am checking customer specification for project B, evening I am on the phone with vendor to ensure they have quoted me the proper items that I need. Nevertheless, there are still phone call to answer, technical issue to solve for the junior engineers, and meeting to attend. Everything needs immediate action, however, I really don't know if I have given enough attention to all. All I know is I am in rush, most paperwork that I prepared, solution that I provide, I didn't even have time to reconfirm, save and send, try and see is the only option I have.

Someone told me, multitasking means one handles different tasks and all task are in good hand. In my case, which word is best to describe my situation? Any suggestion?

成也Astro,败也Astro

有看Astro的朋友大概都有看过以下的Ad,男生坐在母亲与女友中间透过一台电视机同观看Astro节目，后来因为争看不同节目，另添加了一台电视及Astro解码器,同时满足母亲，女友，解决抢看的难题。

最近，我也遇上这一个问题，我爸妈竟然也为了Astro搞得“面左左”。妈妈超爱煲剧，爸爸热爱新闻，不管任何时段，两人都争个你死我活。

例如当妈妈做家务，视线离开屏幕时，老爸立即把遥控器紧握在手，选他爱看的凤凰台；或又当老爸小睡片刻，妈妈也不甘示弱，将遥控器主权夺回，‘叹’韩剧。

那天，斗争升级，妈妈尽然跑来向我投诉，说老爸变本加厉，从前至少会让妈妈看一套韩剧，现在半套未完，已吵着要转台了，妈妈说看得好没‘瘾’，不如罢看，叫我停止订购Astro好了。

原本以为有了Astro,爸妈有多些消遣，晚上没那么闷，现在为了Astro弄得不欢而散，我实在头大了！！

四脚朝天

写了一段日子，鲜少提到我的办公生涯，这一次，终于扯上一点点的关系了。

椅子，一件办公室所不能缺少的家具，却是让我们都头疼的问题。缘由办公椅的品质实在太差了，不能支撑人体的重量，椅脚易断。几个月来，好几位同事都经历了这心惊胆跳的时刻。坐在椅子上，突然感觉身体有些倾斜，还未来得及反应，“啪”一声，整个人已跌的四脚朝天，爬起来后，哭笑不得，不知该庆幸只是虚惊一场，还是该咒骂为何那么当黑。

连坐着都不安稳，又如何能全心全意地投入工作呢？我想该是时候向公司反映一下了。

后话：有同事做了统计，发现遭殃的同事都是属于体重超标的。哈哈！你们觉得我有那么“好运”吗？

大约两星期前，阅读友人的文章，知道有个网站叫FaceBook。当时，并不晓得是什么东东，未有留意。直到Samantha邀我加入，才发现其诱人之处。

里头不只有像Friendster般联系功能，另有各式各样，成千上万的应用程式让你选择,只要你能想到的，应该都能找到（中文程式除外）。

用了好几天，对惯用的程式已了如指掌，挥洒自如；一些可爱，有趣的小程式成了我打发时间的方法。闲来无事，或忙得头昏脑胀时，我会载入Facebook,发送一些小玩意给朋友，阅读一下今天的星座运程，借此轻松一下。

个人认为其中有好多程式都是无聊之极，完全不知道有什么用处，其中有如僵尸，吸血鬼，海盗等玩意儿，一味按键，完全不需用脑，纯粹为无聊人士设计的游戏。有些惭愧，其实在下也是无聊人士的佼佼者。我竟然花了好多小时在海盗游戏，实在不知所谓。

无论如何，我还是很佩服这些网站的发起人，在虚拟的空间，他们能有如此多的创意，天马行空，让一些完全没有交点的人联系起来，亦让一些久违的朋友有个交流的平台，实在敬佩敬佩。

See Ya Next Year!

I guess F1 has already replaced NBA, and become my favourite sport.

It has been hours after the final race of the year finished, I am still exciting about it. Almost every race has surprises, and you can't keep your eyes off for one single minute. When everyone thought Hamilton might be the World Champion in Shanghai, his car went off before entered the pit stop; when he grabbed 2nd position at qualifying in Brazil, he still own the largest chance to be World Champion, but what happen at last, he has gear box problem, and finished 7th position. Nevertheless, the excitement not only on the track, off the race, you still have McLaren obtains Ferrari's technical documents case, Alonso complaints about not being fairly treated by Mclaren issue, and etc.

Last year, I was so miserable after my favourite driver, Schumacher retired from F1 race, I was worry there might not be any excitement in the race. However, I guess I was so WRONG. This year is really a great year for F1 lover, maybe exception for McLaren fans out there.

I am really looking forward for 2008, Could Hamilton fight back? Will Alonso remains in McLaren? What role that Massa plays in Ferrari? Will Renault claim back the glory year in 2005-2006? Tonnes of question raise, and the answer will be reveal in upcoming year - 2008.

RM 559.70 Interest

Today I am really piss, and I don't know who to blame, myself, the developer, the lawyer, or the financier.

My mom has passed me a letter from the developer, and it is about claming interest for late progress payment. The amount of money that they claimed is RM559.70.

I guess I am really careless, and inexperience in dealing with all these. All the while, I thought the process is very simple. As long as you proof to the banker that you can afford to pay the loan, they approved your loan application, and you pay the loan according to the statement, that's it. However I guess I am very wrong. Besides paying the montly house loan, I still got to be alert when the developer is claiming the progress payment, and make sure the bank has paid the developer on time. Else, the developer will start claiming interest from the buyer if overdue.

Dear friends, next time when you buying properties through financier, beware of the above, or else you will be wasting money on unnecessary losses. So, I guess I am going to reduce my DREAMHOUSE budget by RM559.70.

Gym Day

After MIA for a year plus, I have finally get back to the gym. I have been given myself excuses for not going to gym for the first few months, however I really can't go after I had my back injury. After months of treatment, my condition is getting better, and got advise from physician, that I can performs some light exercises, like treadmill, cycling, and cross-training.

This morning, I have forced myself to wake up 630 in the morning, by 700 I have reached California Fitness for my gym session. Wow, everything seems so difficult for me, especially during my treamill session. There is this old lady who jogs beside me, she is having Speed 7.5, and manage to jog for 30minutes without slowing down. As for me, after 10mins of jogging at the Speed of 6.5, I have been exhausted, and have to tune to a slower speed for the remaining 20mins.

First day of gym is quite exhausted, yet I felt happy with myself, cause I have confident in myself, I shall be able to keep it up this time. The only fallback - the parking cost is darn expensive, RM6.00 for 2 hours, I really need to find a cheaper place, and I don't mind to walk a distance.

Today, my office is extremely quiet, especially my project team, 20 over personnel, and now only left Uncle Yaw and myself. Most of our Malay colleagues already balik kampung, getting ready for their Raya day.

Just spoken to Uncle Yaw, and realized this used to happen during CNY time, and now since Malay colleagues have increased over the years, the same conditions happen for Raya, so during the Raya eve, only a few local people still stay back in office.

I actually enjoy working in such environment where no disturbance, no phone call, no distraction. I can concentrate on what I want to do. However, the only problem is lack of a big gang of colleagues accompany me for lunch.

Another 3 hours to go, I guess I should also start buildi up some holiday mood. In fact, I did, I have planned for a few activities for this holiday. I hope everything will go as it is, not expecting any surprises leh.

婚宴

周日晚赴了一场婚宴，与一对新人并不熟，被邀赴会只因为新郎的父亲是我麻将桌上的朋友。
由于是单身赴会，我被安排与新郎的朋友同桌，心情并没有格外兴奋，反而担心这几小时要怎么过，因为同桌的人都认识对方，唯独我是陌生的那一位。

婚宴的铺排大同小异，菜肴也是一般，不过有几项事的确值得一提。
1。婚宴司仪是我多年老友，也是新郎的大哥。我知道他常被邀担任婚宴司仪，口才出众，这次终于有机会一睹他的风采。说实在，才华是有的，只不过话好像多了点。
2。新郎的兄弟好有心，一大伙（大约二十多人）上台献唱祝贺一对新人，更与我们分享了新郎一些鲜为人知的事。人生若有那么多的朋友肯为你赴汤蹈火，那的确是件相当不错的事。
3。新郎的年纪大概才二十五岁，虽不是很年幼，但在这年头，肯那么早负起这一辈子的担子，确实勇气可嘉。

Buka Puasa Dinner

Damansara Division has been invited to buka puasa buffet dinner in One World Hotel. This is kinda big event for our division. As far as I remember, we haven't been together for such activities since CNY karaoke session. So, everyone seems exciting about it.

At first glance, the place seems well decorated, and the food looks so delicious, everyone started to walk around and plan which dishes is nice to start with. Later, I found out that dinner itself is not really that interesting, they do have variety of foods, however the quality is just normal, nothing to shout about. The good point about this dinner, it manage to gather everybody, because most of the time, we all busy with individual projects, outstation services, though working in the same office, there isn't many chances to catch up with each other. By having such event, all of us really can sit down together, have fun, know each other through conversation, share their experiences of life.

So, I guess I got to thank the host - Our dearest Encik Rahman Jantan to invite us for the dinner. By the way, this is my first Buka Puasa Dinner after so many working years with our Malay colleagues, and customer.

Miss Call

How do you guy treat miss call? Do you return miss call? Or you just ignore it since you might feel that if there is something important, the caller should drop sms instead of expecting the receiver to call back when there is a miss call? Anyway, different people might have different way to approach miss call. So, I guess I shouldn't have the attitude to expect people to call back. SMS should be a better way to communicate instead of calling a number for a few times, and expecting someone to return your call, however at last there is no one returning the call.

Back In Action

I guess I have started to feel good with my blog. These few days I have been writing some new posts to share among friends, at least I know my beloved girl friend-Caryn and Ah Tee are reading my posts.

Nevertheless, I really like to thank Ah Tee, he has inspired me a lot with this blogging thingy. I have been reading and supporting his blog since he started with his SK/0617. There are quite a few times I kinda give up with blogging, however, I guess I do like to share my life with people, to give up seems harder that to write post, I keep asking myself why people can write, but not me?

SK/0617 does inspired me a lot at this point of view. Ah Tee has frequently update his blog with various stories, clips and photo, and most of them are interesting and fun to read. Since 13th March 2006, he has been posted 381 articles.

So, I started to realize this is all about sharing, when you feeling like telling your stories, you write, when you are not, just don't write. No one is forcing you to do so. You do it because you feel good about it. You are not going to exam, you need not get 100% for the post you write, you can have all sort of wrong grammar, crazy spelling mistake, and yet you manage to express yourself.

So, I guess I am 101% back in action.

Ah Tee - Thanks for all your comments. Haha, even my girl friend never leave me any comment here. Oh ya, and also about the re-establish the link back in your blog. Yeah!!

月光会

上星期赴了一趟月光会，感觉还蛮有趣的。那天下午，接了一通电话，被友人邀请到他家参加月光晚会。虽然知道赴会的都是友人妻子的同事，我依然爽快应约，因为我已好久没试过一大伙人庆中秋了。

月光会的食物种类并不多，也没什么特别，不过气氛还不错，至少还有一些烛光，灯笼点缀整个庭院。最意想不到的是，他们竟然有猜“灯”谜这个环节，而且是有备而来得，其中一位同事特意到书局买了本趣味猜谜的书籍，让我们在微弱的灯光下猜谜。

重头戏当然是一边吃月饼，一边赏上弦月，带来的月饼都是一些知名酒店的出品，味道“该”不错，有榴莲的，单黄莲蓉等口味。大伙就这样欢欢喜喜，嘻嘻哈哈的度过了一个月光晚会。

104 Deg Farenheit FeVeR + unBearablE soRE Throat

I had a terrible weekend after attending Jacky's concert. Anyway, I guess it is my own fault. After lunch break on Friday, I started to feel dizzy, and the throat is like burning. So, I decided to take the afternoon off, and went home to take a rest. However my condition was still bad after an hour rest. I have been spending so much for the ticket, I am not going to give up the concert, therefore, I went to clinic, and get some fever tablets, just incase I got fever. I guess fever tablet is just not enough, and I end up with 104 Deg. Farenheit High Fever and 6 days Medical Leave.

For the past few months, I guess I am weak in a way I have been having sore throat and fever every month. Whenever I seek doctor's advise, the only feedback - "Do more exercise, Drink more water, Control diet, Less intake oily and heaty food". No wonder, I am weak, because I do have problem to live my life in such a way, 1st of all, I can't really do exercise since my back problem still not yet recovered, then oily and heaty food is my favourite. So, the only adjustment I manage to do - Drink more water. I hope this will help a little bit, or else, I really need to seriously consider to change my lifestlye, in order to have a healthy life.

我去听他的演唱会

好几个月前，已托友人买了张学友07光年大马演唱会的票，打算一同去欣赏他的演出。转眼间，已是九月了，说实在，对演唱会并没有什么期待，因为，之前已看了一场精彩的雪狼湖舞台剧，这一次，不过是想再重温那些陪伴我一起成长的歌。

演唱会如何精彩，劲爆，报章上的报导多的是，不需再重复。在此，只想分享真正陪我成长歌手的点点滴滴。认识我的朋友都知道我超爱譚詠麟，其实，他红的时候，我才十一，二岁，大多数的经典都是后来才开始认识的。我真正开始接触粤语乐坛，应该是九十年代，既是四大天王的时代。所以说，真正陪我成长的歌手该是张学友也没差。

谈到张学友，印象最深的莫过于几个中学同学同聚在志威家唱卡拉ok 的欢乐时刻。Cry,每天爱你多一些，饿狼传说，李香兰等歌曲都是我们的至爱。尤记得Cry的MV,那弯腰起手的姿势到现在还一一印在脑海中，而同学间的友谊就在这些时候建立起来的。

另外，好些时候，当感情面对错折，都爱凭歌寄意，那时候，心如刀割，一千个伤心的理由，这么近，那么远等都成了我的寄托。

还有一样是必须谈的，我第一次去听的售票演唱会就是十多年前张学友在莎阿南体育场演出的演唱会。

张学友，你真是我们七年级生的歌神啊！

Solution of Writting More Post

11 Years of Chinese education backgroud, however, end up with writting in english. I prefer to use chinese, unfortunately the chinese text input is killing me. The duration of completing one post is like taking forever. Maybe that's the main reason I seldom write new post, and update my blog. I guess, finally I found my solution, instead of sharing my stuff in chinese, I rather use my broken english, to write my post.

So, I guess from now on, I will be albe to write more posts, and have more writting to look back for years to come. Hooray!!!!!

MATTA fair

This is my second time went to MATTA fair, I have nearly forgotten when is my first visit to MATTA fair, anyway, not important at all.

This time, my purpose to MATTA fair, try to get some cheaper deal for Macau/Hong Kong tour. As usual, the place is packed with people, however, not as bad as I thought. After a few hours of survey, manage to get some ideas, and info. Anyhow, there isn't a lot of discount for the period that I plan to go, therefore, I didn't take up any offer from MATTA fair.

In order to firm the trip, I have already online purchase the flight ticket via air-asia, and pending for ground arrangement package. I guess I will check out with a few travel agency from the brochure, flyers from MATTA fair.

Spent RM3.00 for MATTA fair, and get to hang around in there fore a few hours, seems not bad at all. I am like already visited the world. HAHAHA

Pity My Blog

After I read friends' blog, I do have such question, why people have time to write new post, share their thoughts, but not you? Ya, sometimes I really felt pity with my own blog, created this blog for a year plus, but there is just around 10 posts, really too little. Maybe, I am not good with time management, or just maybe not confidence with my own writting skill, that's why so reluctant to write. Anyway, I really wish to write more posts, share more thoughts, kept more stories. So, I have promised myself, no matter how, maybe once a month, quarterly, or annually, I will have some new posts. Tanis - My nick

I have been using this nick since I was intro to net chatting years ago. Most ppl do asked me why m I using this nick, or if this nick mean anything. Ya, it does. So, I guess I should intro a bit about this nick.

Tanis is one of the Heroes of the Lance from Dragonlance (a fantasy novel written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman). His full name is Tanthalas Quisif nan-Pah. Tanis is actually half elven, half human. Normally, we categorized as Half - Elf.

Tanis was born in Qualinost, the son of Elansa Kanan. Elansawas raped by a human, and died after birthing him, so Elansa's brother-in-law, Solostaran, the Speaker Of The Sun, raised Tanis along with his children. Tanis was an outcast, constantly regarded as a half-human bastard. When he was still a young elf, Tanis, already lonely and miserable. Flint Fireforge, a dwarf who had come to sell his wares in the elven city due to his superior metalworking, became Tanis fast friends, as Flint easily recognised the loneliness in the half-elf, and Tanis was a great help as well. Lauranalanthalasa (Laurana) Kanan, fell in love with Tanis, but Solostaran and the other elven nobles did not approve of Tanis mixing with an elven maiden. Eventually, Tanis left the city of Qualinost with Flint, wearing a ring of golden ivy leaves given to him by Laurana. They journeyed to the town of Solace, where Tanis met up with the other companions. He became one of the famed Heroes of the Lance, an honorary Solamnic Knight, and eventually, husband of Laurana and father of Gilthas. Tanis was slain by barbarians while saving Steel Brightblade's life and defending the High Clerist Tower, stronghold of the Solamnic Knights.

So, now most of you should know who this Tanis is, but Why? Why I select Tanis but not other heroes in the novel. I guess my main reason is due to his complexity background. Besides, he is also leader of the heroes of lance. He always listens to his own feeling, work things out with his heart, and the companion likes to follow him, and respect his decision. Tanis also a man of passion, he will accept it, understand it and harness his passions.

I just realized before I used this blog, I got another blog at YAHOO360, and there area few articles there. Since this blog has been abandoned for quite sometimes, I guess is time to have some updates.

So, I am transferring some of my old articles to this blog.

I guess most people who listen to cantonese pop song, age range from 25 and above should know who Alan Tam is. Alan Tam, one of the top artists, singers in Hong Kong in 80s'.

Why write about Alan Tam? Simple, I like his song for more than two decades. I just want to share some history about how I started to like Alan Tam. When I was young, I enjoyed one song very much and since Alan Tam is famous at that time, I just assume that song is sang by him, and from there onwards, I started to listen to his song. However, the fact is, I just couldn't find the 1st song that I enjoyed, infact, that was performed by another LEGEND in 80s - LESLIE CHEUNG!

I have been listening to his song for so many years. Sometimes, the song's quality doesn't really matter. It just like making a call to an old friend, and starts recalled the old times. (Gosh!!!Does that mean I am old).

Alan Tam, will support you forever. Thanks for all the great songs, they have accompanied me for so many years, through happiness and sorrow.
